Cora has been riding and working with horses for over 20
years now. After years of training and showing she started her
career as an apprentice/ assistant trainer in 1998. In 2002 she
had the opportunity to take on a few clients of her own which is
when she started Winterose Training.
Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned show rider, Cora
will work with you and/or your horse to achieve your goals.
Specializing in hunter/jumpers means we can work on any
aspect of the show ring. This includes hunter, jumpers, hunt
seat equitation, and medals. We do many schooling shows,
USEF, PCHA, and NorCal "A", "B" and "C" rated shows.
School horses and lease options are available for those not
quite ready to commit to owning their own.
Cora has worked with horses of all kinds. All breeds are
accepted. Green broke, changing discipline, or show horse,
she accepts them all.
At Winterose Training we try and keep things fun. Riding and
showing should be as stress free as possible. So we try and
get out of the arena and enjoy the "fresh air". Our horses have
been to places like Del Valle Park, Mt. Diablo, Brushy Peak
and even the ocean. Well rounded horses are happy horses!
Looking to sell or buy a horse? No problem. Cora can help you
find a great new home for your horse if you are selling. But if
you are in the market to buy, she can help find that perfect
match.
